Scream

The original Scream was released in 1996and has to be the scariest of them all – although there have been 5 films following on from this Scream, the first one is defiantly the best.  The film stars many famous actors and actress such as Courtney Cox, Drew Barrymore and David Arquette.

The Haunting in Connecticut

The haunting in Connecticut is a psychological horror directed by Peter Cornwell and released in 2009. The film is based on a book called ‘The story of a True Haunting’ which is supposedly a true story.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Texas Chainsaw Massacre has had two versions of it made, the original in 1974 and then was recreated in 2003. The original is much better than the remake but unfortunately it’s quite a bit older so people tend to watch the current version. The film has lots of gore and jumpy scenes to keep you on the edge of your seat. The film has been produced by ‘Platinum Dunes’ who have also produced films such as The Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday The 13th.
