When October 31^st arrives, it can be a time to let your creative side out. This is your chance to make your house the scariest on the block! And what better way to do that than perfecting the art of pumpkin carving?

Depending on how many pumpkins you have, how big and how spooky they are could make the difference; there’s so much variety you can work with, in terms of different facial expressions and shapes that are cut out.

Here, I’ve found some of my favourite pumpkin carvings to help inspire you for this Halloween:

This is a very creative carving, with the fact that it’s not simply been cut into, but stalks have been added to make ears, the eyes aren’t just holes and the tongue- well the tongue just sticks right out at you!

The simple use of using a mini-pumpkin with this really adds effect. I love the way the stalk has been used as its nose; simple, but effective.

The detail in this carving is phenomenal. This would take a very steady hand and a lot of patience. I found lots of stencils available online that can help create masterpieces to this standard (or near enough)!
